A LITTLE CARE GOES A LONG WAY
Make space at your pace.
An estate cleanout can involve a whole home and a lot of decisions. We start with the person authorized to make those decisions, the things that matter and a written plan for the rest.
Call to discuss the job, or send an enquiry. The crew must confirm scope, coverage and availability before a pickup is booked.
One clear point of contact.
Tell us who is approving removal, who will be present and whether other family members need time to review the contents. We need authorization for the items we take. A deadline does not replace that decision. If there is a dispute over belongings, resolve it before the removal is scheduled.
Keep, review, remove.
Use separate rooms, labels or clearly marked zones. A review area gives uncertain items a place to wait without ending up in the truck.
- Set aside documents, photographs, jewelry, keys and financial records.
- Check furniture drawers, cabinets and storage containers.
- Identify items reserved for family, an appraiser or a sale.
- Decide who can approve changes if something unexpected turns up.
A room-by-room plan.
For a larger property, provide a room list and wide photos or arrange a walkthrough. Include the garage, basement, sheds and access routes. We review load size, handling, destination requirements and possible multiple trips before agreeing on the scope.
Respectful removal, with clear limits.
We can discuss ordinary household contents and furniture. Valuation, document shredding, legal advice, hazardous-material work and specialist cleaning are outside ordinary removal. Donation is considered only when a receiving organization confirms acceptance. There is no promise that every usable-looking item will find a recipient.
The camera can stay off.
This job does not have to become a story. Filming is a separate, optional conversation. Saying no does not change the agreed service, and private papers, family photographs and addresses should never become incidental footage.
Fair questions.
Can you help in stages?
Ask for a staged scope, such as one floor or the approved rooms first. We confirm scheduling and any separate-trip cost before work.
Do you decide what has value?
No. Set aside anything needing an appraisal or family decision. We remove only what the authorized person approves.
Can you coordinate with a realtor?
Yes, include the owner’s authorized contact, the realtor’s role, the deadline and who can approve the final scope.
Will the property be ready for sale afterward?
Junk removal addresses the agreed contents. Cleaning, repairs, staging and compliance work are separate tasks.
